ABOUT ME :)
I’m Kate; Family Photographer and mum to a busy two-year old, with another little boy arriving this June.
My work is just as much about how a session feels as how it looks.
Warm. Relaxed. Unrushed.
Shaped around your family and the connections that matter most to you.
From the moment we meet, my hope is that you feel at ease and feel free to be yourselves and let moments unfold naturally.
Whether we’re at home together, outdoors in the golden light or in my Brookvale studio, the focus is always the same:
creating space where nothing needs to be forced or perfected.
Because when you’re comfortable, the photographs become more than images.
They begin to hold what it felt like to be there.
...and those are the parts worth holding onto.
STUDIO
Grab Studio is a light-filled space my husband, Gab, and I created together.
A place designed to feel calm, considered and easy to work in.
It’s where I photograph families, newborns, and brands, against a backdrop that’s modern, warm and inviting.
Every detail has been thought through, so creating here feels timeless.
FAMILY
I'm Kate; wife to Gab, mum to Jude and a primary school teacher.
Teaching and motherhood have always helped shape the way I photograph children.
Taking a gentle and patient approach, leaving space for children to be who they are.
It’s why I care so deeply about photographing love as it is.
TRAVEL
Travel has always been a big part of who we are. From weekend road trips to long haul adventures around Aus. Since Jude arrived, those trips have looked a little different, but the love for exploring new places has never left.
As he grows into his toddler years, we can already see it becoming a big part of our life again. Showing him the world, making memories in new places and collecting all the special stories we’ll tell for years.
